    Go to to ExpressVPN’s website using the link above and click Get Started or Get ExpressVPN. This will take you through the sign-up process, which is very similar for other VPN services. You must choose how long to subscribe for, and it’s always cheaper – per month – to sign up for longer.

    The company offers a 30-day money-back-guarantee, so theres no need to worry about the expense just yet.

    As part of the process, you’ll see the option to download the app for various devices, including Windows. When the download is complete, double-click on the file and follow the instructions. The app should launch after installation, but you’ll find it in the Start menu if not.

    Then, you’ll be walked through the options asking whether you want the app to automatically launch when you start your machine and if you want to share performance data.;

    Finally, youll be presented with a big button that turns the VPN on and off. Beneath this theres the option to Choose Location, which allows you to specify the country where your server will be instead of choosing the fastest or closest one.

    This is useful should you be using the VPN to watch region-locked content on services like Netflix, as youll want to choose a server in the same country as the shows youre trying to access.

    All that remains is to click that big button and the VPN app will secure your connection. Now, whichever web browser or app you use, youll know that spying eyes will find it near impossible to know what youre doing.

    I am using Private Internet Access. Prior to installing WIN 11 my VPN worked just fine. I can no longer connect.

    Which VPN product are you using and what is the version ?

    In my case I use NordVPN and it was updated today to Version 6.38.15.0.

    It failed to connect in Windows 11 with the message “Failed to turn on NordLynx”.

    I had to change the settings in NordVPN to use protocol OpenVPN instead of the NordLynx which is selected automatically as recommended protocol.

    I have seen this problem before with other Development Build of Windows 10.

    This may be a completely different issue from yours, without knowing which VPN product you are using.

    You probably already know all the benefits you can enjoy from using a VPN. VPNs use encrypted tunnels to reroute your online traffic through their own servers, so your private online activities wont be visible to anyone including ISPs, marketing companies, governments, employers, and so on.

    In addition to amping up your privacy, VPNs also boost your security, as a lot of them offer malware and tracker blockers, automatic WiFi protection, and so on. Lastly, VPNs are a great way to bypass geo-restrictions and access content thats not normally available in your geographic region . Keep in mind, however, that not all VPNs are created equal, and a good rule of thumb is steering clear of free VPNs. If you dont already have a VPN provider, make sure to choose a quality option.;
