The RT-AC66U B1 outperformed other budget-priced routers that we’ve tested. With many routers, it is possible to either replace that software or add new software to it, which adds the capacity to run a VPN to your router. There are two main pieces of firmware that you can flash onto a router to add the capability to connect a VPN. Those are:
DD-WRT

The Downsides Of A Router VPN
